What you may use it for
Only for files you own or have the right to share, to find out who passed on a copy you gave them. Do not use it for anything that depicts a person without their consent, anything sexual involving a person under 18, or anything unlawful. Tell your recipients that their copy is individually marked.
What it is not
It is a free tool provided as it is, with no promise that it works on your material or that a mark will survive what happens to a copy. A result is evidence, not proof, and a mistake in acting on it is yours. Do not accuse anyone on a result the tool describes as weak or inconclusive.
Limits
Files up to 300 MB, one job at a time, jobs may be queued or refused when the service is busy. We may remove content, block abuse, or stop the service at any time, and may report unlawful content to the authorities.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses arising from use of the service.
